WARNING There are alot of balance changes, play on an alternate account if you’re worried about dying!
Balance #
- DAMAGE: Regardless of the projectile sprite, damage is now based on the difficulty of the area you are in. So if you are in a 3 skull dungeon/biome, you will receive 30 damage. 0 Skull: 5 Damage, 1 Skull: 10 Damage, 2 Skull: 20 Damage, etc…
- BIOMES: Biomes now become progressively more difficult. Starting with 0 Skull (Sandy Shores) and increasing by 1 skull each biome you progress through
- DUNGEONS: Dungeons now match roughly the difficulty of the biome they are located in, so if you are in the desert (3 Skull), then Scorpion Pit and Temple of Anubis are both 3 skull dungeons. Remember, the number of skulls will indicate the amount of damage that projectiles do!
- ITEMS: A lot of items have change to better support the new biome progression. This means things that are found in later areas are likely stronger than things found in early areas
Features #
- You can now sell your items to merchant shops who will give you gold in exchange
- Crafting shops are now upgradeable, upgrades cost resources, items, and currencies to get to the next level
- Dungeons now have special rooms at dead-ends which can be special merchants or special treasure rooms
- Town has been redesigned to better support more shops
- Monsters now have a chance to drop fully crafted loot based on their biome
- Minor: You can now disable camera pan, keystones now show how much of a bonus you will receive. skill tree lines don’t unecessarily light up.
